Ten-Second Takeaway

Banne Miya, a small fast food street stall located on the Link Road heading toward Dahisar, is the perfect spot to chow down on a kebab or two while enjoying the view of the sunset from the bridge.

Their chicken tastes heavenly. In fact, everything at the stall is┬áheaven for meat lovers! Pocket-friendly options are available, but they don’t taste cheap. Banne Miya is a treat for those who live in the suburbs but have a soft corner for Colaba’s legendary Bade Miya, since the meat here is at par with what you get at the South Mumbai joint. In fact, even the menu proclaims that the restaurant is the ‘taste of South Mumbai {Colaba}’. Besides the tikka, be sure to try the chicken taang and the keema rogti. A full meal for two people should not cross INR 250 at the most.

Sip On

They don’t have anything to drink on their menu, so come armed with a water bottle.

Anything Else?

The smbiance isn’t that great because it’s a street-side shop, but once you taste their food, you’ll overlook all the flaws. They have a great deal of variety especially in meat and their hygiene is really exemplary.

Try taking a car and enjoy the chicken in your car’s air conditioner {though even a two-wheeler would do}. Parking is not an issue. They don’t have a card machine, so don’t forget to come armed with money.
