Ten-Second Takeaway

Books on Toast, a book-lovers community, is back in Bandra after a year-long break. And get this – they have an event lined up this month which is themed on the Harry Potter play being staged in London.

What’s Their Story?

Books on Toast is a quirky circle of book-lovers, ardent readers and fledgling writers in Mumbai who would choose a hardback, a great book sale and a library membership over most other things in life.

BoT holds book-donation drives, fun events and many activities for those inclined towards literature. Though their story officially began a few years ago, it is after their successful two-day festival in 2015 that Books on Toast is now coming back with more regular activities planned such as open mic events, book clubs, readings and signings by authors.

Oh My Word!

Psst! Word’s on the street that you can expecto a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child special event on July 28. Think Potter-Heads, wands and JK Rowling mania under one roof. Could we be more excited? We will keep you in the loop when we know more.

What Else Is Happening?

Soon, hashtags and throwbacks won’t be the only things Thursdays will be made of. Starting from July 14, we’re looking forward to Books on Toast Thursdays {#BoTThursdays} in association with the HIVE, where they will host a series of events in the interest of book-lovers every week.
