When her mother gets transformed into a bear, Merida and her mum struggle to overcome their differences and find a solution in this touching tale brought to life by gorgeous animation.

For Music Lovers: Mamma Mia!

For all Abba fans out there this light-hearted musical brings plenty of heart with characters oozing with charm thanks to brilliant performances by Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried. Watch the drama, romance, chaos, and fun ensue to the tune of Abba's catchy musical numbers as Amanda Seyfried's Sophie tries to figure out which of her mum's old flames is her real dad and finds out a whole lot about her mum too, in the process. This is a great Mother's Day watch!

It's never easy being a teenager. And LadyBird portrays this complex time of our life and the mother-daughter relationship with plenty of nuance, heart and sensitivity. Sometimes, the people we love are also the ones we find it most hard to get along with as we confront both our own and their identities and expectations. Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf's performances are worth watching out for.

With a beautiful real-to-reel life story and a wonderfully supportive relationship between mother and son, this movie brings home the message that family is more than just about blood ties. A great choice to celebrate the power of a mother's love this Mother's Day.

Marmee couldn't be more proud of how her daughters grew up, and you'll want to be along for the ride!

For When It's Not All Perfect: Bad Moms

Being a mom is tough. And this comedy featuring names you are sure to recognise:  Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Jay Hernandez, Annie Mumolo, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Christina Applegate is laugh-out-loud funny. Watch what happens when the stress hits ultimate levels and these moms decide to let loose! This one's on the raunchier side, so be warned!


For Sports Lovers: The Blind Side

Watch Sandra Bullock in her Oscar-winning role as Leigh Anne Tuohy, a suburban mom who fosters young teen Michael Oher with her brand of tough love. The movie explores their complicated relationship and also follows Oher's path as he rises to fame in American football as an NFL player and star.

For The Ultimate Classic: The Sound of Music

Who can ever forget Julie Andrews in possibly her most famous role to date as Maria, a woman who decides to leave the convent behind in search of a job. Watch for the beautiful musical score, plenty of humour and heart and romance between Maria and the Captain!
