Neel Mullick

Bibliophiles, there’s a book discussion happening with two scientists who are now taking India's literary scene by storm – authors of the "immediately endearing" Milk Teeth, Amrita Mahale and "unputdownable" Dark Blossom, Neel Mullick will be in conversation with journalist and media person, Meenakshi Nath Sharma at one of Mumbai’s most exclusive venues – The A in Lower Parel.

Amrita is a rocket scientist from IIT and Stanford, now with a nonprofit research lab working on artificial intelligence for social good. Neel studied Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon before getting an MBA from INSEAD and spends his free time working with NGOs across four continents. Both have returned to India to turn their geek power to not only social good but also storytelling.

While Amrita’s debut novel is being hailed as “a prominent voice in Indian literature” by the Times of India, Neel’s debut Dark Blossom was “unputdownable” for Ruskin Bond and “haunting and visceral” for Rajdeep Sardesai.

Tea and coffee will be served during the event and a few lucky registrants will be invited to stay back for drinks with the authors at the bar at the A.

This would be your chance to not only get up close and personal with the authors but also to take a clue or two to bring you closer to the epic jackpot of winning a trip to New York (or anywhere else in the world)! So hurry, grab your spots soon, and start preparing your questions.
