Studio Potter’s Market in Bandra is hosting the fourth edition of Bandra Pottery Festival this December. There’ll be over 20 studio potters showcasing their work.
There’s a potter’s wheel where you can make your own pot and take it back home and there’s handmade ceramic art, jewellery, murals, sculptural artwork, and even home decor to be picked up. Clay modelling workshop will be a part of this event and those of you interested in it should give it a shot.
Anybody who appreciates the crafts and is open to exploring different mediums to it. Pottery is a very understated form of art and requires patience, so only head here if you have time.
It’s a yearly event that gathers art lovers from different parts of the city. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people. Since it’s in Bandra, don’t forget to head out for snacks to Andora’s.
If you think pottery is a redundant form of art, think again. With technology taking over and Black Mirror episodes becoming a reality, it’s best to go back to the basics.
