In the tiny alleys of Kala Ghoda, right after you walk past the likes of The Pantry, a few designer stores and Mamagoto, you’ll come across a pale pink store with a flashy gold name stating ‘Colaba Cartel’.

Inside this newly opened store by Nitya Arora and Ileshaa Khatau, is a range of Indian and fusion wear designers that you would ordinarily not find in one setup together in Mumbai.
There are clothes by Hyderabad-based designer Nikhil Thampi, Indo-Western designers Hemant and Nandita, House of Sohn, Sukriti & Aakriti and a few more.

What makes Colaba Cartel unique from other places is that the shop itself doesn’t impose its opinion on which pieces the designers are to showcase, giving them complete sartorial freedom in display and stock.
The prices are designer by nature, and nothing will be less than INR 10,000 at the very least.
