What Makes It Awesome

Dhaba Cafe is straight up a cafe out of a colourful poster, or a board game with its bright lights and funky posters adorning the wall.

Situated on the first floor of Galleria in Powai, it's a tiny cute cafe with two tables.

After walking around the Galleria, we decided to check this one out as we were ready to hog. The menu offers regular quick bites, like pizza, Maggi, fries, pasta and more. However, what really stood out for us was that it is really affordable. The most expensive dish on the menu is for INR 199!

We decided to order in the regular margarita indie pizza {INR 99} and we were pleasantly surprised when it was actually served on a base of naan {naanizza anyone?}. It was delicious, and enough to fill one person.

Also ordered in a plate of zigzag crispy fries which are the tandoori fries {INR 79} and ate to our heart's content.

What Could Be Better?

Since it's literally a two-table thing, we wish they could offer more seats. Though we were told, they do a lot of home-delivery and takeaway orders.

Anything Else?

The tables have mini-board games; snakes and ladder, and crosses and zero. They also do a mean butter khichdi as well, along with a few variations of Maggi. It's a good student-hang out/takeaway cafe cum joint

If you're around Galleria and don't want to spend too much, we suggest you go here and grab a quick bite.
