Forget going back to the future. The present is far more exciting with Done Thing, a portal/service app that will act like your personal assistant and organise everything and anything for you.

Love In 2017

Done Thing is an app and an online portal started off by Delhi-based Chetan Agarwal, Shivani Agarwal, Karan Saharan, Sonal Saraogi and Pansari. Think of Done Thing like your own personal assistant that will organise everything for you. From throwing a birthday party, to preparing a romantic dinner, or even pay bills on your behalf, the team will it get it done for you.

This app and service is, then, a boon for the unorganised and unplanned romantic who’s struggling to materialise plans for their other half. All that you need to do is download the app and they’ll sort it out for you. From mundane routine activities like hiring a driver starting at INR 450 to something that is lavish and extravagant like hiring wedding assistant, they want to be your one-step to everything. They also stepped in during the earlier stages of demonetization and let their users hire people to stand in the ATM or bank queues for them.

What We Love

It’s all about the convenience, honey. As an app and a portal they envision to cater to everything one needs. Though they’re more focused in Delhi/NCR for now, in Mumbai they have tie ups with technicians and restaurants. According to Midday, they have also helped people get a limousine, and blue painted flowers when requested by the customers. Yep, as rare as they maybe, anything to woo your Valentine.

Perhaps this Valentine you can get them to set up a romantic dinner for you at home, without you really doing the work? After all, it’s the lovely thought that counts, no matter who executes it.

So, We're Saying...

They charge INR 100 per hour and it can go upto INR 1,00 for a 12 hour hire. If you’re lazy but enthusiastic, go about planning a cute breakfast in bed this Valentine’s day? Just download the app or call them up. They are planning on increasing the cities they function out of, and will also be getting more vendors on board.

Android users, download the app here.
