What Is It?

Named Let’s Talk! – Sip and Swap, a community often calls {every month to be precise} Sunday lazy people to join their book swap party. A party where strangers exchange a book for a book, over a coffee or beer. The idea is to get people talking to each other, which usually doesn’t happen easy with our smartphones in our hands all the time.

They generally screen a movie as well or have an interesting performance, giving independent artists a space to exhibit their work. They only have limited spots and it’s compulsory to bring along a book.

Who Is It For?

Bibliophiles, avid readers or anybody who’d like to meet new people.

Why Should I Go?

It’s a unique concept and if you’d like to take a break from the online world, this event might bring in some respite.

So, We're Saying...

It’s a fresh change to see events based on the concept of getting to know other people, sharing knowledge, rather than just alcohol. You can follow their Facebook page to figure out where it’s happening next. You can follow Instagram here.

Check out the Facebook event here.

The next event is on November 19 and will also see a ‘Let’s Talk’ session with the co-founders of the Terribly Tiny Tales. Tickets are for INR 249. Get tickets here.
