Feeling Festive? Visit One Of The Oldest Pandals In The City This Season
It's that time of the year again, and you'll find Ganesh pandals spread across the city. Here's your chance to look at one of the older ones. Read on.
What Makes It Awesome
Established in the year 1951, the GSB Sewa Mandal is a non-profit organization that puts up one of the biggest pandals in the city. King's Circle lights up every Ganeshotsav with shiny lights and happy pilgrims. Not only it's the oldest, it's also one of the most expensive pandals in the city. The Ganesha idol is laden with gold and the decor can give any wedding a run for its money. There's a Virat Darshan on Tuesday, September 11 at 8 PM.
Parking may be an issue around the pandal. And since there'll be a lot of crowd around, make sure you travel light. It's one of the better-managed pandals in the city. In case you want to volunteer, give them a shout on their Facebook page. (Photo Courtesy: GSB Mandal's Facebook page)
