What's Happening

On this day of patriotism, how amazing would it be to have a true moment of triumph while hoisting the tri-colour on top of one of Maharashtra's favourite trekking destination - Kalsubai Peak.

The plan is to meet at Kasara railway station at 1.30 AM (if you've never heard of Kasara, it's a station on the Mumbai Central suburban line towards Nashik. If you're still confused, board the train at Dadar and move towards Nashik). Once together, the squad will move towards the base village and start the trek. A medium intensity trek, it will take you 3-4 hours to scale the peak, hoist the flag, chill there before you start your descend.

Price Includes

The total cost of this one-day trek with all meals and ferry back and forth from Kasara railway station is INR 1,100.

Make A Note

Since it's a trek and you'll be putting up in a dormitory, remember to carry a blanket and a bed sheet. Good trekking shoes and a bottle of water is  a must. And definitely carry medicines, just in case.
