Oxfam Trailwalker is organising a team challenge walkathon along the majestic Sahyadri range - 100 kilometres over 48 hours - in Karjat. Known to truly test your limits of endurance, you are required to form teams of four and urge friends and families to donate for a cause. The amount you have raised is used for Oxfam India's programs on education, health for all, and social and gender equality in the six poorest states in the country.
Oxfam India also organises free practice walk sessions for participants to prepare them for the ultimate team challenge. Apart from an exhilarating experience, this initiative is also a zero waste sustainable event and doesn't harm the environment.
Registrations for Oxfam Trailwalker Mumbai {November 23 - November 25} are now open for 100 km and 50 km trails. To be eligible for the walkathon, each participant is expected to raise INR 25, 000.
