Korra Jeans, an Indian brand which has products made by a single tailor, and from natural and recycled materials in natural indigo selvedge denim, is holding a pop-up at Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters.
The pop-up is for those who have always yearned for that perfectly fitting pair of denims, but also care to know where their clothes come from, and who makes them. Korra Jeans is a brand which attempts to bring the consumer closer to the tailors and keep the maker close to the results of his crafts. Each pair of jeans is made from start to finish by the same tailor, and his or her name is on the label of the jeans, as a way of differentiating the product from the usual and impersonal methods of mass production.
At this pop-up, you will be measured for the pair of jeans, pay on the spot, and have them delivered. It will take approximately twenty minutes to find your fit and place your order, the jeans are ordered the next day, and are then delivered to you within three to five working days.
Both debit cards and credit cards are accepted. People should attend this event to get to know more about the people and the process behind their favourite pair of blues, as well as to enjoy a hot cuppa – and a perfect pair of jeans a few days later.
When: 9am to 9pm, Sept 23 and Sept 24
