Ten-Second Takeaway

Ganesh Chathurthi is upon us, and to celebrate the festivity, Taj Hotels have launched a set lunch menu across their restaurants for INR 1,500 {inclusive of taxes}.

What’s It About

You heard that right. A set lunch menu will be available across the restaurants of The Taj Group Hotels in the city for a mere cost of INR 1,500. The list includes Shamiana, Golden Dragon, Souk and Masala Kroft at the The Taj Mahal Palace, Konkan Café and Trattoria at Vivanta By Taj – President, Ming Yang and Masala Bay by Taj Lands End, Weli Deli at Taj Wellington Mews and lastly, Rivea and China Inc at the Taj Santacruz. All of these restaurants will feature a four-course meal during the lunch hours.

Chow Down

With the set lunch menu, you have an option of having a soup, an appetizer, a main and a dessert. Every restaurant has a different menu but you can easily choose one from each section of the menu.

Konkan cafe is offering a Western Coast menu and a Southern Coast menu and you can choose which one you want. We’re also salivating over the desserts featured on the different menus like paan ice cream {homemade beetal ice cream at The Konkan Cafe}, the rose petal ice cream {at Souk}, date pancake, and Cheena Payesh {paneer dumplings poached in saffron milk at Masala Kraft}.

China Inc probably has the most diverse menu, and it follows a similar patter of a four-course meal. Trattoria has two themes at offer, The Tuscan region and the Sicilian region so if Italian is on the agenda, this is where you go.

So, We’re Saying…

A 5-star dining experience for INR 1,500 is what we’re going for. We get to fine dine, celebrate the festival and it doesn’t even burn a hole in our pocket.
