Beyond Mohammed Ali Road: 6 Eateries You Need To Visit This Ramzan

Mihika posted on 22 May

The time to legit hog on food is here as the holy month of Ramzan has kicked off. As the lanes and moods get lit up, we can’t wait for evenings after evenings that will be spent eating the mouth-watering preparations so typical to this time.

If you’re craving kebabs, nihari and some jalebi with rabdi combinations, but have no time (or patience) to go to Mohammad Ali Road, we have got a list of other feasting joints you could head to instead.

Khairani Road, Saki Naka

When the stalls at Khairani say crispy chicken, they mean that crisp. Crispy chicken is their most popular selling item with chicken pakoda in close succession.

    Firoz Farsan, Byculla

A gastronomical wonder, Firoz Farsan is an only takeaway place known for their patrel biryani (which surprisingly is a biryani without rice) that is cooked with patrel leaves cooked with beef (they are happy to substitute that with chicken or mutton) available from 11 AM – 11 PM. They sell the biryani per kilo starting from INR 120.
