What Makes It Awesome

Buffets can really burn a hole in your pocket, while offering limited quantities, or serving food that's not too pleasing for our taste buds. But we've got our food cravings covered, and our lunch and dinner plans sorted now. Because Andheri has a new fine-diner that serves giant buffets at affordable prices.

We're talking about the Indian Barbecue Co, a venture by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, that's sure to impress you with it's hospitality, interiors, and food (of course!) This one's the newest addition to Mumbai's grill and barbecue scenes and you'll be salivating as you read further. Every table has a live barbecue facility here, and the restaurant serves lunch buffets between 12 and 3 PM, that comprises a welcome drink- the very humble immunity boosting Kaadha (we really could do with one this year) two soups- Tomato Shorba, and a chicken Manchow soup with crispy noodles on the side. They then have a welcome platter with a Hummus and Pita bread, Dilli waali Aloo Tikki, and a Dahi Bhalla (drool-fest happening!) Gear up for some salads- they've got four variations in veg and two in non veg currently.

The starters are our favorite part of the meal. Here, you'll get a Chatni Paneer Tikka, a Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Veg Corn Cheese Seekh Kebab, Tandoori Chatpati Gobhi, Chilli Garlic Mushrooms on Skewers, and Cajun Potatoes (if you're a vegetarian) Non vegetarians, you get to feast on Bhattiwali chicken Tangdi Kebab, Hariyali Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Ajwaini Prawns, Tandoor Fish Tikka, Skewered hot and spicy chicken, and a skewered fish satay.

We can sense that you're already full by now, but hey, do the prep and come to Indian BBQ Co. Maybe skip all meals before heading here because #pictureabhibaakihai. The main buffet has 12 options to choose from. Their Railway Mutton Curry and Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani is too good (and tasty) to be true. Vegetarians, go for an equally amazing Aloo Chhole Biryani. The buffet has Pan Asian options as well. But we'll skip that now and tell you about the sweeter things. Like their Shaahi Tukda, which is a true bomb! You can also go for their Garam Jalebi with Rabdi, or the Badami Kheer. The dessert may change everyday or have more options though.

All in all, we loved dining here, and stuffing ourselves with unlimited food. The vegetarian buffet rates are- INR 699 and INR 799 for the week and weekend, respectively. And the non veg buffet rates are INR 849 and INR 899 for weekdays and weekends, respectively. So make your family weekends count, with some delectable spreads and hearty conversations, at this awesomesauce new restaurant!
