Located besides Gowalia Tank Dairy Farm in Kemps Corner; Tokyo Treat is a Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Japanese cuisine outlet which offers various types of Sushis, Ramen, Rice Soups and Salads. They have indoor seating available and also do home delivery in the radius area. The place is small and has few tables to dine in.
We opted for their home delivery yesterday as we wanted to have sushi from a new outlet. The delivery came early and the packing was really nice with chopsticks and napkins and eco-friendly packing as well as a cloth bag. Below is what we ordered:
Snacks & Bites:
Edamame Beans: Boiled Edamame Beans with rock salt packed in the container with a separately packed dip of soya sauce, Sweet chilli sauce, and Togarashi which is a 7 flavour chilli condiment to put on it. The quantity of the beans was really good for the price.
Sushi Platter Box:
Veg. Yasai Box: A sushi platter box which had 20 pieces of different sushis – Teriyaki Shitake, Asparagus, Tempura, Veg California, Babycorn Tempura and Veg Nigiri. With amazing taste, this platter is sure to cater your appetite with a variety of perfectly made sushis which were packed nicely with 2 portions of soya sauce, chopped baby ginger, a nice portion of wasabi all of which you will definitely relish.
Sushi & Makki Rolls:
Edamame Avocado Rolls: Rolled perfectly and packed nicely, this had 8 pieces of rolls which consist of Avocado and Edamame with spicy mayo. Really love the flavour. Served in the box with chopsticks, soya sauce, baby ginger and wasabi.
Avocado Cheese Rolls: One of my favourite, 8 pieces of rolls - this one had avocado with Philadelphia Cream Cheese which had a melt in the mouth creaminess. This was served in the box with chopsticks, soya sauce, baby ginger and wasabi.
Overall, it’s a decent place to suffice your Japanese cuisine cravings. The quantity served is really nice for the price offered and the food is fresh too.
