Mumbai Mixtape, Vol 3: Take A Drive On The Bandra-Worli Sea Link

We Made You A Mix

Whether it be the sound of a local train pulling into the station, cars honking in Andheri, or the waves lapping on Marine Drive, Mumbai has a soundtrack all its own. We’ve been trying to make it even better with LBB Mixtape, a weekly series that will curate music specific to sometimes musical, sometimes noisy Mumbai. Here’s Vol. 3: avoid the traffic and take a truly picturesque drive on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link at night.

Volume 3: A Sea Link Over Troubled Waters

Mumbai indie rock band BLEK has curated a soundtrack to plug into while taking a blissfully traffic-free drive over the Bandra Worli Sea Link.

Blek are an indie rock band that broke on to the circuit with their debut EP Hexes + Drama and Other Reasons For Evacuation. They've played extensively around the country, and at festivals such as Ziro, NH7 and Hornbill festivals. Their soundtrack for us includes Kings of Leon, John Mayer, Kasabian and Chemical Brothers.

Don't forget to attend BLEK's next gig on Wednesday, August 31, when they perform at antiSOCIAL in Khar. Find out more about the event here, and about BLEK here.
