Shortcut

We visited Wow Bake and Grill at its new Lower Parel outlet to check out its delectable and quirky range of burgers, fries and pasta.

Chow Down

Wow Bake And Grill is a typical snack joint, but it does things the right way. All their pizzas, sandwiches, burgers and more come fully loaded – so expect a lot of paneer in your panini.

The menu also includes pizzas, bruschettas, open-faced wraps, rolls, and more. Don’t expect fine dine quality here – it’s a desi-style mess of ingredients meant to taste good, give value for money, and nothing more.

Winning For

The highlight at Wow Bake and Grill, which started with an outlet in Malabar Hill, is hands down the bhut jalokia burger. The burger is made by sourcing dried bhut jolokia {one of the hottest chillies in the world} from Assam to put in the burger. While it’s not crazy spicy, it’s enough to wake up your tastebuds. At INR 150, it won’t make your wallet suffer too much either.

Another interesting item is the eight-inch peri peri nacho pizza for INR 220. We’re also fans of the tantalisingly crispy peri peri fries at INR 120, mashed potatoes at INR 70, fries with melted cheese {drool} at INR 150 and olive pesto pasta at INR 220. All of these dishes make this place an ideal place to grab a bite {and grease} before a heavy drinking session.

So We're Thinking...

Easy on the pocket and generous with servings, head on over here to curb that evening need for something filling.
