#LBBScoop: What To Expect At Indian Accent's Pop-Up In Mumbai

The information in this post might be outdated

Ten-Second Takeaway

Indian Accent, Delhi and New York’s favourite restaurant, is opening a pop-up kitchen in Mumbai in the last week of September, and it’s only going to be around for three days.

This True, Bro?

It really is. While we were vying and pining for India’s top restaurant, Chef Manish Mehrotra and Gauri Devidayal of Magazine Street Kitchen decided to collaborate and bring Indian Accent to the city to feed our FOMO and appetite, all at once. This is a ticketed tasting menu with multiple courses and you have to book in advance for either lunch or dinner {or both}. You can choose the ticket which includes wine or one without.

What To Eat

The food at Indian Accent is a contemporary take on otherwise traditional Indian dishes. As told by the chef Manish Mehrotra himself, you should look forward to their signature meetha achar chilean spare ribs, ghee roast mutton boti, chaat items, tandoori bacon prawn with wasabi malai and his absolutely favourite veg recommendation - tofu coriander medu vada.

#LBBTip: Even getting reservations at the Delhi outlet are a bit of a wait, so from one foodie to another, we really suggest snapping up tickets. Stat.

So, We’re Saying…

That we could possibly be feasting and tucking into butter popcorn upma or camembert cheese naan, makes this hectic season a little happier.
