I recently visited Pune to unwind from the busy life in Bombay. It has got some interesting new places but has its old charm intact. While exploring the lanes, my eyes were caught by a bright yellow bungalow, which was converted into a quaint casual bistro named Cafe Pondi.
So, I decided to explore more of this place and as soon as I entered, I saw the simple yet very elegant interiors done with wood and the theme revolves around yellow-blue-white-brown colours. It's a pure vegetarian cafe serving south Indian cuisine influenced by Tamil and Pondicherry.
The sky was in it's most romantic form and I was sipped on some hot chocolate and munched on some yummies they offered.
