Chow Down

You know what the best thing about a thali is? It’s a plate full of pure awesomeness that gets you full in an instant. That’s right. And if you’re a vegetarian {or just a sucker for good food} then look nowhere else and make your way to B Bhagat Tarachand, an eatery Mumbaikars will resonate with in an instant. Given that it has been around for decades, and branched out into opening many outlets across the city, there’s something about its outlet in Zaveri Bazaar that still pulls us towards it like some sort of a magnetic force.

Go here to enjoy their vegetarian delicacies – all of which are great – but we love their thalis the most. They have two kinds of special thalis, both of which cannot be shared {they’ve specifically said so in their menu too and we’re very Joey-like about food}. The first one will comprises three chapatis, dal fry, veg sabzi, paneer sabzi, rice, papad, a glass of chhaas, and dessert, and will cost you INR 240. The second thali will have the same menu, except that the plain rice will be replaced with pulao, and this will cost you INR 260. The thalis are heavy and delicious, and you might need a good nap after you’re done hogging here.

So, We’re Saying…

Why get into the dilemma of what to order when you can have an easy way out? Head to this amazing eatery for even more amazing thalis.
