Ten-Second Takeaway

The iconic Mumbai Film Festival MAMI is coming back in its 18th edition this October, and the tickets are on sale starting now.

Is This The Reel Life?

Sure is. This MAMI {Mumbai Academy of Moving Images} film festival which showcases Indian and World cinema in its many forms – feature, documentary, short films, will take place between 20–27 October. It cuts across Bollywood, Hollywood and independent cinema. The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on October 20 at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai, which is reopening on that very day.

We are looking forward to watching actress Konkona Sensharma make her directorial and screenplay writing debut with film A Death in the Gunj. It will be interesting to view how this actress has used her perspectives and language to influence a film in ways other than on-screen performance. {This film will be shown on October 21.}
