Organised by Mumbai Travellers on Saturday, September 3, midnight cycling is all about exploring the east coast of Mumbai – stretching from Colaba to Bandra during the quiet cool of the night.
Think of night time’s calmness, cool coastal breeze, and then throw in cycling for good measure. This is the set up of midnight cycling in Mumbai which will have enthusiasts from across the city on their two-wheeler biking alongside each other.
The journey will commence from Mad Over Doughnuts in Colaba and will be covering Nariman Point, Worli Sea Face, Shivaji Park and ending at Bandra Bandstand. This cycle route is planned keeping in mind the beginners or people looking to explore Mumbai in a different avatar.
Keep in mind to wear rainproof clothing like shorts/trackpants, right kind of shoes and of course stock yourself up with water bottles and snacks for a quick nibble. All of the cycling equipment and gear will be provided at the assembling point. So all you need to do is show up and be prepared for a nighttime adventure.
If you, like us, are looking for peace in this always crowded city, a fun night cycling around Mumbai is the way to go. Not only do you get to unwind from the buzzing traffic all day, you cycle with people who are looking for the same. Plus, Mumbai by night is magical especially if the route is as breezy as this one.
