Butterfly Bounty at the Ovalekar Wadi, Thane

What's Happening

Bright colours, vibrant beauty and their lifecycle we learned during the eighth grade are a few things that strike us when we hear the word butterfly. However, apart from these butterflies are also claimed to be important wild indicators of the eco-system, it's health and quality. How about spending a day with these pretty little creatures in the open air?

It might be rare to spot a butterfly these days, however, that's certainly not the case in Butterfly Bounty - a unique open butterfly garden in Thane. The Bombay Natural History Society is organising an exciting butterfly trail in this garden where you can spot rare butterfly species, beautifully patterned caterpillars and learn about the lifecycle of these winged jewels.
Spot beautiful species like Dark Blue Tiger, Brown King Crow, Blue Mormon, Blue Oakleaf, Common Baron, Great Orange Tip and many more.

How's The Venue
