What’s Good In The Hood?
Oh Fudge has time and again won our heart: first, with their delicious, homemade glass jars full of variants of fudge which they deliver across the city, and then with the small outlet they opened facing the sea on Carter Road.
This little café is now spreading its wings, and extending its spoons to SoBo, and we couldn’t be more excited to write about it. Why the enthusiasm? Let us tell you.
Started by Prateek Vaid and Jayesh, Oh Fudge absolutely delivers when it comes to the taste. Using a fudge recipe passed down the family, they have created so many variants of fudge that give your regular Cooper’s at the Lonavala station a run for its money. Be it peanut caramel, chocolate hazelnut or coffee-chocolate, dark chocolate and sea salt – they’ve nailed it. The fudge is rich, not too sweet to eat, and just perfect.
At this only fudge café, apart from fudge which is sold in many sizes {from thumb-sized bottles for INR 25 to big jars} they will be serving thick, fat milkshakes mixed with fudge. That means, a huge shake full of ice-cream, milk and a big load of fudge. These are then topped off with your favourite toppings – nuts, cookies, you name it. Not just that, there will be fudge sundaes, with guess what, more fudge.

No fudging way, you say? It’s true! Keep a lookout for them as they’re already open right opposite Camy Wafers in Colaba main market.
Thick shakes and ice-cream fudge sundaes start at INR 150 and go upward.
