Ten-Second Takeaway

The most quirky and wonderful visual and performance artist, Gurgaon-based Princess Pea, is finally having a solo show in Mumbai, and we are very excited.

What's Happening?

According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, the Gurgaon-based artist is presenting a solo show, Sunrise Ceremonies, at the Sakshi Gallery in Colaba during the Mumbai Gallery Weekend that will be held at the gallery in mid-January.

The artist is most well-known for her 'Princess Pea' character - an iconic image, symbolic of the values and rights of the ‘girl-child’ in India and the issues surrounding women’s identity in modern day society.

We love her alter ego, and are very excited about seeing her stuff in person.

So, We're Thinking…

We'll definitely see you there.
