This tiny place in Bandra West is serving super authentic Goan, Mangalorean, South Indian, North Indian and Bengali grub.
I'd already tried their food when they were a delivery service, so was super excited to visit their new restaurant. The 24-seater is simply and beautifully decorated, and the walls have framed family recipes, a detail which I loved.
We tried the aloo'r dom, the chicken cutlets, the mulagapodi chicken and the green peas xacuti tikki for starters {we have healthy appetites}. The chicken cutlets and the mulagapodi chicken were the standout dishes for us. The cutlets will melt in your mouth good.
For the main course, we tried the nalli nihari and the Kerala bhetki moilee. We had this mopped up with the coconut rice and the sheermal naan.
My personal favorite was the bhetki moilee. It was amazing comfort food. Highly recommended on a rainy day!
