Shiro in Worli launched their delivery service with ‘bento boxes’ in March of this year, and we’re officially fans.

What's In It?

What we’re liking about the bento boxes is that they offer equally appetising options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The boxes include both Makimono Bento, which is served with salad and dumplings; as well as the Donburi Bento Box served with steamed rice, udon noodles or hibachi rice.

Vegetarians can opt for the dumplings, while meat-eaters can enjoy a selection of gyozas. Carnivores can also partake of the Seafood Donburi Bento which serve up a combination of sushi and sashimi.

So We're Thinking...

We loved the packaging of the meals, which is neat, colourful and reached us in perfect condition. The serving sizes are also ideal {though a little reminiscent of airplace food, without the terrible quality}, and the food was very fresh. The boxes are a little expensive {starting at almost INR 500} so we’ll bookmark these for when we need a pick-me-up at work.
