Old wine in a new bottle. (Which means a new addition to something that already exists.) This was the only phrase that came to my mind when I came across this amazing sustainable brand called IWas. The cool and young peeps who've started this initiative are up to some really good work in Goa.
So here's the idea. We know Goa is the party capital of India. As a result, thousands of glass bottles (mostly alcohol ones) are found lying as trash on the streets, beaches and even in the sea. That's where IWas steps in, collects these pieces of trash and converts them into innovative treasure. These trash bottles are converted into products which people like you and me can use on a day to day basis. And, the best part? They're doing this by involving the local communities as well! A total win-win, if you ask us!
Scan through their collection, and you'll find lots of greens. Vibrant and positive. You can find daily household items with a chic touch to it.
