The latest instalment of a new series of events in Mumbai, Mumbai Cool, will be held at Piramal Museum of Art, and will investigate the impact of Mumbai’s cinema culture on the city.
The event, which will host a series of discussions, will include conversations on Bollywood, Marathi cinema, indie and art house cinema, and seek to bridge the divides between them.
For cinema lovers. The event will explore spaces like Matterden and Osianama, which are altering the film-watching experience in Mumbai.
The event will also explore queer cinema, LGBT festivals, women filmmakers and more.
Speakers will include Pranav Ashar from Matterden/Enlighten, Tangella Madhavi, an independent filmmaker, Sridhar Rangayan, the festival director of Kashish, and Raja Sen.
