What Makes It Awesome?

Cocoamaya is founded by pastry chef Deeksha Shetty who studied in Paris and brought a little bit of it back home with her. It's a small, quaint cafe located in a quiet lane in Andheri selling pastries, bread, and shakes. It's also one of the few places in Mumbai offering macarons.

There are a variety of French desserts here like the Mille-feuille, Opera cakes, Frasier, Céleste, and many more. We picked out Celeste, which was made up of a hazelnut mousse on a crispy praline hazelnut base. It was super creamy and delicious. Next, we tried all of their macarons (coffee, chocolate, sea salt, passion fruit, paan, and cheesecake). The cheesecake macaron is only made on order as it gets soggy if prepared beforehand. They were good with chewy centres and velvety fillings.

The patisserie is cutely decorated with neat frames and lights. Enter the cafe, and you'll feel like you are in Paris.
