What Makes It Awesome

While walking around Dadar West, looking to snack on something we spotted a unassumed cart with a huge vessel frying up delicious banana chips.

Meet Jaswant, who has been running this cart for the past 20 years, and has now been steadily stationed opposite Arihant Hardware store on SK Bole road in Dadar West, on the ever-so-busy pavement.

While chatting with him, we could see him slice up the bananas, put them in the hot boiling oil, and deep fry them. Once done, they are picked up, and lightly peppered with salt, or the masalas you'd like. Ready to go, you can take them home in packages.

From your regular salted banana chips to spiced ones, among other farsan collection, we hoarded up on two packets of regular banana chips of 250 grams each for INR 150.

Anything Else?

He has been doing this for almost two decades now, and also takes catering jobs or bulk orders.

Though he was out of his business cards, we've been told every day, religiously, he stations himself outside Arihant, from 10am to 10pm {unless his stock of bananas replenishes earlier on}.

You can just google map Arihant Hardware Store in Dadar West and it'll lead you to our man, Jaswant.

He also has a collection of other namkeen packets, Madras Kelli, and more in case you're looking for variety.
