The owners of Spices & Flavours and The Bar Terminal bring to you Happy House Kitchen, a new concept eatery in Girgaum Chowpatty that opens its doors to the public today. Expect good food, beautiful decor and a few other surprises coming your way!

What Makes It Awesome

Happy House Kitchen is a new carefree eatery that promises to serve a lip-smacking vegetarian fare that will enthral both, your mood and your tastebuds. The interiors are an absolute riot (of colors) and extremely cosy (there are more things than food that'll make you want to stay longer). There's a perfectly lit 'Happiness Wall' that is a rotating art gallery (sounds cool?) which features works of upcoming upcoming artists from Mumbai. For people like us who love a little bit of art in our daily lives, this wall was a beauty to behold.
The menu features a wide (we mean it) variety of soups, salads, quick bites, quesadillas with a twist, buddha bowls and mocktails.

Our picks of the evening were Tom Kha- a white broth brimming with exotic veggie dumplings and Phad Thai noodles with gluten-free ramen and Spinach Agnolotti- handmade stuffed eggless pasta with baby spinach and ricotta laced with basil arrabiata. It tasted just about perfect, and we loved it. We might have just found our favourite new spot for desi food, folks.

Another item from their menu that really caught our attention was Jamaican Chole Kulche (we imagined Chris Gayle at a dhaba), homemade chole spiced with Jamaican masalas served with baby kulche, sundried stuffed chillies and a side of Greek tomato salad. Nomnom, indeed! The best part about their menu? It's vegan, gluten-free and keto-friendly.

Pro-Tip

Part proceeds from every meal had at Happy House Kitchen will be utilised towards surprising an underprivileged child on their birthday every month. A little bit of goodness will definitely go a long way, what say?
