Cafe Free India. Nestled in Lower Parel at a walkable distance from Station. I loved the way this place is conceptualized. Quirky interiors, Funny anecdotal frames was something really attractive and eyecatchy. Everything here is bit different with a twist. This place has best comfort food. Right from entering in the walls are covered with funny qoutes which was pretty interesting. I loved the whole thing. Yet confused why Cafe Free India.
Rolling over the menu, they've european, continental and asian food. Also they're really known for their Burgers. Bar Menu is vast and have lured drinks lovers at LowerParel. Food menu, I'm out of the words. Apparently budget friendly place. Warm vibes here, wooden seatings, simple yet beautiful decor will please the people to come in over here.
Drinks:
1) Kala Khatta Mojito-
Packed with refreshment, full of flavours. Some inhouse jaljeera powder to shake your head up. Loved it. Amazing and refreshing.
2) Kit-Kat Shake-
Went for toss. Too much of ice. Also the kitkat used wasn't sufficient. Seemed like a simple milk with small punch of kitkat. Improvement needed here. Can give a miss.
Food :
1) Chili Garlic Chicken-
Medium spicy. Chicken was tender and juicy and was marinated perfectly. Check it out!
2) Jalapeno Cheese Poppers-
Goodness of Cheese. Cheese was literally oozing out. Truly must try for cheese lovers. Shouldn't be missed. Served with a dip which was too good to taste.
3) Bombay Masala Pizza-
One of the best pizza. The base was super thin and crispy. Topped with red, yellow and green bell peppers, cottage cheese and cheese. Calling out pizza lovers.
4) Paneer Kadhai-
Comfort Food. Really one of the best. Paneer cooked in rich red gravy. Perfect in taste. They don't have much variety in breads so called for chapati. Was a perfect combination with Subzi.
Desserts
1) Gooey Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Icecream-
Mildly warm brownie topped with vanilla ice-cream. Presented well. Brownie was super soft. Loved it over all.
In all the place has potentials to do much better. Service needs to be bucked up. Some attentiveness shall be appreciated. Completely impressed with food and desserts. Surely a must visit place. Will check it out soon again. Cheers.
