This Small SoBo Joint Makes Mughlai Mutton Biryani That Is To Die For

What Makes It Awesome

Sukri's Biryani House in South Mumbai's Dongri area makes a variety of biryanis that are delectable.

We tried their Mughlai mutton biryani that is sold at INR 250 a plate. This was the best biryani we have eaten in a really, really long time {yes it beats Delhi Darbar, Jafferbhai's and Zaffran too}.

The masala is delicious with just the right amount of spice while the mutton pieces are well-cooked, soft, succulent and well- marinated. The aroma of the biryani itself is enough to make your stomach churn with hunger and I promise, if you're a biryani fan, this is going to be your next favourite.

The one we got home was green in colour with just the right among of greasiness and flavour. Team it with cold raita that you get with the biryani and a perfect meal is set!

What Could Be Better?

The joint is a small place with very little room for sit-down meals, which is a disappointment. But a take-away or home delivered meal is as good as it gets!

What's My Pro Tip

Order extra because their biryani is so good, you surely won't be able to stop. Plus, this biryani like many others tastes even better the next day.

Anything Else

Their quantities are good and a box of Biryani can easily suffice 3 people. Each box comes along with raita to relish your meal with.

If you plan to visit the place for a take-away, don't be too surprised by the long queue outside.
