Travel of Art is a new creative space for artists that has opened up in Versova, and it is a lovely space for when you’re looking to unwind.

Come, Paint And Unwind

Meghana Biwalkar of Travel of Art who organises art-based trips in Maharashtra, and art workshops across the city, has now launched her new art space by the same name. Travel of Art is a co-working space for artists and creatively inclined people to come there and treat it as an art studio. In fact, the wall doodle at the space has been done by a friend of Meghna’s, Mumbai-based artist Shefali Desai {of Base 501}.

The space is run out of the gorgeous Bliss store {which we wrote about here}. The philosophy of Travel of Art is simple – come here, paint and unwind. The space will also be available for conducting workshops, and artists, or anyone really can get in touch with her, and book the space out. Meghna tells us, they will also organising exhibitions and art sale pop-ups regularly so the artists can sell their stuff here.

What We Love

Here you literally feel like you’re travelling with art – away from the hustle and madness of Mumbai. In the quiet by-lanes of green Versova, where birds chirp more than the blaring horns, Travel of Art offers WiFi which Meghna begrudgingly shares with us {she wants people to really unwind here}.

The space has stationery ready for you- watercolours, paints, brushes, canvas and even adult colouring books for you to pickup and fill them in. For an hour, you pay INR 100 and for a day pass, it is INR 300 and you get the access to their material, WiFi, and drink coffee on the house. You may also book the space for a week if needed. There’s also space for artists to hang their paintings to dry, in fact, she encourages it.

So, We're Saying...

It’s a lovely space and is open to artists and non-artists both. So do make sure to get in touch with Meghna in case you’re looking for a change of office space {and some peace}.
