What Makes It Awesome?

A cult piece of Venice, majestic grandeur and simplicity of classic Italian cuisines with picturesque sea view is a stellar description of Cecconi’s in Soho House, Juhu. After alluring food mavens with intrinsic hospitality in some of the largest cities of the world, Cecconi’s has set foot in Mumbai to give an Italian touch to the way Mumbaikar meet and eat.

As you walk inside the 150 seater trattoria headed by chef Luca D'Amora, there is tranquillity adorned with sun-kissed nobility. Yellow lights from the chandelier induce a warm vibe and shadows the in-house bar & leather upholstered furniture’s. Italian cutlery is apparent on the table in line to the homely collage giving it a rustic feel. Step forward and traverse the coastal region of Venice with beach facing stunning view, tilly chairs with comfy sofas, ferns & succulents potted plants add to the luxury and prestige to space. The presence of optimistic aura in the air makes it appealing and endearing.

The menu speaks of North Eastern Italy's finest gourmet cooking like gnocchi, Bolognese, ravioli in the making. Its straight & simple with only classic preparations and no fusion spices. They even serve some of the world’s best cognac, Brandy's, wines & blended whisky’s.

You can start with plant-based Farro Broccoli & Almonds Salad tasting crispy with lemony tahini. Drool over Lamb Meatballs prepared with tomato sauce & basil giving a strong flavour to the cuisine. If you are not diet conscious, then Calamari Fritti with lemon aioli can be wiped off from the plate in a minute. Rosemary Roast Potatoes with coated spices makes for a great side dish. The unique Lobster Spaghetti infused with tomato, chilli and basil look spectacular to be ignored; it's flavoursome, tasty and a pure bounty.

For teetotallers, they have only two drink options: Not A Jal Jeera and Beetroot A Rosewater Tonic.

The best part is the dessert; Lemon Cheesecake  With Blueberry Compote is worth spoon licking with softness like never eaten before. Chocolate Fondant With Vanilla Ice-Cream was awesome too but nothing can beat the Lemon Cheesecake.

Cecconi’s is already opened to the public and you can visit without any membership but do reserve a table in advance for the best seat of your choice especially the sea facing side. It’s the best place for a date, romantic dinner or to simply catch up with your loved ones.
