How Do I Get There?
The Tridib dam is located in Mulshi, which is very close to Pune. If your group has decided on a road trip, then it’s a smooth drive from Mumbai to Mulshi on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway. Follow the exit as per Maps.
If you’re heading there from Pune, it will take you approximately two hours to reach Mulshi.
What Is Unique About It?
The cottage is tucked away from all things we hate about the city life – noise, people and traffic. So close to the Mulshi dam, we love this two-room two-storey, cobbled and brick cottage. The outdoor settee area, open-air dining area and greenery make it an amazing getaway. There are no meals provided, but the property is okay with chill alcohol scenes, unmarried couples and is LGBT-friendly as well. You can’t, however, take your pets or go with elders in the family because of the number of steps that lead to the stay.
Anything Else?
Four guests are allowed to stay, and you can request for an extra bed. The price per night for renting the whole cottage is about INR 9,440 {do note that prices may vary according to the date of booking and season}.
