What Is It?

GOAT Music, spearheaded by a London-based music and events agency, is bringing to India a ‘boutique music and arts festival’. And where you ask? Goa, of course! The festival is a three-day experience with artists from around the world showcasing multi-genre music and art performances. Are you ready for some off-beat grooving, on the beach? Since, there’s a detailed secret forest garden set-up, you can even indulge yourself and find your ‘spirit animal’.

Who Is It For?

If you’ve finally planned that long-awaited Goa trip but don’t want to do the usual beach-shack routine, this is the place to head to. You can also relax, without getting too bored, by attending the workshops and then cooling off with their on-site spa sessions. For those of you with an adventurous streak, there is also surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding and other activities. We even hear there’s some sound therapies involving Yin Yang yoga, which we can’t wait to try. Plus, storytelling, dance and art workshops and pop-up restaurants to check out as well. It’s getting harder to decline this, isn’t it?

Why Should I Go For It?

With performances by Gilles Peterson, Afriquoi, and India’s own DJ BLOT! and the Delhi Sultanate, GOAT is looking to showcase alternative India through art, design and music. Three person disco and house music project, Hercules & Love Affair also join the incredible line-up of artists at the festival. We’re actually waiting to see a dilapidated building be reformed and brought back to life by artistes led by Bangalore-girl Shilo Shiv Suleman. If you want to hone your designing skills, sign up for the haute couture costume workshop by Little Shilpa, who has actually designed some quirky headgear for Lady Gaga!
