What Is It?
Who Is It For?
For anyone who’d love to catch some soothing live gigs, attend an exciting open mic session, and engage with like-minded people. The Live! At the library is a series that has been started off by Helter Skelter Magazine and Ministry of New to showcase all sorts of independent art scene in India.
The theme is ‘Love is Love’, and as we’ve seen at other events at Ministry of New, be assured there’ll be some lovely decor inspired from Valentine’s Day. As for the performances, Nush Lewis, harpist, singer and songwriter will be there belting out her delightful acoustic sets, Ranjit Arapurakal who will be going live with his band, Ranjit and the Ambassadors with their renditions of blues, punk, reggae, jazz and more. For the fashionistas out there, hear out Jason Arland, a 21-year old celebrity make-up artist and fashion influencer along with Savio and Darshan about his latest venture, Beau Shringar and discuss the matters of love, life and reality.
Why Should I Go?
Apart from the wonderful performance and activities that have been lined up, the patrons get to experience it all in one of the most beautiful spaces in Mumbai. Did you know they have a surf-shaped swing in their library? Well there’s your incentive.
Additionally, the evening only gets better as every attendee gets free wine at the event.
