What Makes It Awesome

A homegrown brand, Lumbernotes makes decorative art out of lanks of wood, and here’s why it caught our eye. You should take a look too.

Remember the days of rolling out posters, rebelliously sticking it to our cupboard with scotch tape and calling it decor? Sisters and by-night entrepreneurs, Palak and Priyanka Lakhani have taken that experience to the next level, and started Lumbernotes, a brand making wall décor using hand-painted wood.

Using pinewood as their canvas, they let their imagination and creativity unfurl on to wood which then serves as home décor. These wood notes have extremely relatable pop culture prints that we’re loving – whether it is a board indicating Platform 9 ¾ (accessible to wizards and witches only, of course), a more epicurean, food-themed one you can hang in your kitchen, some about cats, books, Game of Thrones and more things we love.

There are even wall hangings that they can customise with your name to hang in front of your home. Price on request, these are really cute pieces that will liven up your home (plus they really last a long time). Get a piece here or catch them at one of their pop-ups.
