I thought of visiting a waterfall last weekend and later decided on the Kansai waterfall which is near Nagothane, just three hours away from Mumbai. You've to put your maps towards Nagothane, from their head towards Kansai village shown on maps. But don't enter the Village, go ahead and you'll see a factory - Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. on the way, then keep going and from there you'll see an entry gate to the Kherwadi village. Enter the village and you'll get the directions on way to the waterfall. You'll need to trek for about 30 minutes to reach the waterfall. It's all covered in the jungle-like surroundings. You may see many types of insects and after the trek when you reach a rocky path you'll experience the waterfall and its beauty!

You can head to this spot with your friends or family. A nice gem of a place that remains completely unknown to so many people.
