Want To Design A Taxi? Attend This Two-Day Workshop

Ten-Second Takeaway

Travel by taxis everyday? Make one beautiful with your own designs and illustrations by attending Taxi Fabric's workshop.

What Is It?

For the uninitiated, Coldplay's video for Hymn For The Weekend featured Chris Martin travelling in one of the taxis designed by Taxi Fabric.

After garnering appreciation for their work, Taxi Fabric is now organising a two-day hands-on workshop with 24 selected designers who will work with mentors to create three Taxi Fabric taxis. The chosen one will then get to design a 'Taxi Fabric' of his/her own. Important: You don't have to be a professional designer to apply. If you have a creative bent of mind, please apply.

How does it work?

To enter the selection process, portfolios of previous work, new ideas or work samples need to be submitted. 24 designers will be chosen on the basis their submitted designs {a minimum of three samples needed}. Winners will be selected based on their overall creativity, presentation of work and community response {applauds and views on their projects}.

_DSC0354#LBBTip: Applying for the workshop is free. However, a charge of INR 500 will be applicable for the 24 shortlisted designers as an entry fee {inclusive of food & drinks for both the days of the workshop}.

Where: 14, Cama Industrial Estate, Sun Mill Compound, Lower Parel

Last Date to apply: 28 August, 11:59pm {They're very specific about this}
