Waterfall Rappelling At Bekre

What's Happening

Monsoon's in full force and so are the waterfalls in Maharashtra. And, in case you're looking at making the most of it, signing up for waterfall rappelling at the Bekre waterfall near Bhivpuri is a brilliant idea. Organised by 99Hikers, this one happens on July 6 (Saturday) and promises a thrilling experience. For INR 1,000 per person only, it covers your travel from Bhivpuri station and back, your scrumptious morning breakfast, a delicious local lunch, first-aid facilities, equipment charges, and the guide's fee.

Your meeting point will be the Bhivpuri station, from where you head to a village. The waterfall's around 30 minutes from the village, and the route is breathtakingly beautiful. More so during the monsoons, because everything's fresh and green. We're really excited about this event - when are you scaling the 90-ft waterfall?

Pro-Tip

If you're already tempted to attempt this one, know that you will have to catch a Karjat-bound local from CST at 5:20 AM, and get off at Bhivpuri. Don't be late!
