What Is It?

Lit O Fest is a unique festival, also touted as the country's largest literature and culture festival that will bring together legendary and upcoming artists from literature, art and music on one platform.

For those interested in literature, art and culture. With the aim to bring together and build literary talent in the country, the Lit O Fest will take place on February 23 and 24. Amruta Fadnavis will also be present at the event that will showcase emerging and award-winning talent in seminars, panel discussions, workshops and entertainment showcase.

Why Should I Go For It?

Because the focus for this year’s event will be a marque session on body shaming attended by actors Tannishtha Chatterjee, Divya Dutta and other leading personalities. There will be a session for and by poets called ‘Kavita Satrangi Re’ and will see the presence of poets and lyricists such as Kedarnath ji, and Ashok Chakradhar among others. There will also be sessions on the importance on women voters. You can also look forward to seeing legendary Indian dance talents- Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Dr. Kanak Rele, Uma Rele, Sandeep Soparrkar and Ashley Lobo with Saroj Khan sharing the stage together. So if you're interested in a two-day literary fiesta that will cater your literature, art and music needs, then this is just the right platform.

Anything Else?

This year, the Lit O Fest has adopted Dahigaon village in the Shahpur district in Maharashtra as a part of their social responsibility and they will provide proper schools, toilets, drinking water, solar power, digitization, medical facilities as well as counselors to guide children from the Dahigaon village and empower them to achieve their dreams using education and literacy as the core foundation.
