A newly opened, upscale eatery at the Empresa Hotel, a mix of black and white with a tinge of red adorn the interiors and lounge music playing in the background are just some of the things that make The White Charcoal a strong contender for our next date night spot.

With the weather getting worse day by day and noise levels that never seem to go down, The White Charcoal can sort of be your hideout. Specially of you’re trying to escape the heat, noise or people. They serve India, Continental with a hint of Italian and even Korean. You can start with their soups starting at INR 395. Their murgh shorba we hear is worth a try. Herbed chicken skewers and the non-veg platter have also been talked about. You may get a bit disappointed with the fact that they don’t serve a non-vegetarian lasagne and you would miss those juice bits of chicken in it. But hey, there’s still plenty to choose from.

They do not serve alcohol so if you’re thinking of raging, take your business elsewhere. However, they serve mocktails that will play the perfect companion to your food. Try the pina colada, the only respite from  the sun outside.

It’s definitely on the expensive side and some may think the food is not worth the money. But silence and a bit of privacy is worth it, you guys.
