Travelling Sushi Festival

What Makes It Awesome?

So when Shizusan’s The Travelling Sushi- The Sushi Festival came around, it was time to indulge in my favourite sushi fantasy and so one fine Friday evening visited this place. Shizusan Offers Tasteful Balance of authentic Asian delicacies which includes Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and more.

The menu is so interesting and extensive. It has several really innovative dishes you can indulge on even if you are a vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Absolutely loved the seating arrangements and ambience which is quite pleasant with a Japanese vibe to it. We had plenty of dishes to relish on, so we started with Thai Thai and Strawberry Basil drinks. Thai Thai is the classic Thai spiced lemonade. Both these refreshing drinks make for the perfect combination with the ingredients of Asian food.😊✌

From the starters, we tried.
▶Gung Bao Potatoes-This is basically an Indo-Chinese dish and a stir fry crispy combination of potatoes in sauces.
▶Hot Garlic Pepper Chicken-This was delicious, aromatic and mildly spicy. Loved it!

Moving over, Asparagus Tempura Sushi and Dynamite Shrimp Sushi were a delight to the palate. It was fresh and savoury, personally liked the dynamite shrimp sushi a lot.
▶Dynamite Shrimp Sushi- this was the perfect grab and very scrumptious.

From the dumplings had tried Poached Chicken and Water Chestnut & Scallion.
▶The Poached Chicken dumpling was made up of minced chicken cooked with spicy ginger, pok choy and served in a tangy broth. Overall both the dumplings were unique & delicious filled with the best kind
of ingredients.

The Pulled Chicken Bao & Vegetable Kung Pao were mouth-watering treats. The Baos were inspired by the flavours from all across Southeast Asia.🥰

From the main course, we choose to try Hot Stone Veg Rice and Chilli Garlic Chicken Noodles which we had along with Cashew Nut Chicken Gravy and Stir-fried Veggies in Butter Chilli Sauce. The Cashew Nut Chicken Gravy was coupled with juicy and tender chicken pieces cooked to perfection topped with cashews and tasted well with rice. Enjoyed the main course!

And finally the desserts. Both Lychee & Date Wonton and Cheesecake made a great impression. These desserts would surely tackle your sweet cravings.

Right from drinks to starters, to the mains and desserts what I had tasted, it was good enough. The price is a bit on the higher side but the food taste and the service provided is excellent. Had an amazing experience altogether.

That goes with the saying one cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well.
