Natasha Postwalla, a home baker, is my find of the year for the best brownies in the city. The freshly baked slab has an aroma to die for and the gooeyness is incomparable. I had them fresh, I stored them overnight, had leftovers two days later - still flawless.
Coming back to where I began, One bite into it and I was instantly reminded of the droolicious brownies from Theobroma (synonym for the best in Mumbai) - dark, moist and not cakey!The slab costs ₹450 (roughly 9 odd slices) which is insane for the quality she offers.
Also, a big mention to the New York Based Cheesecake she bakes. Again a classic cake - baked exactly how it should be. The sourness and sweetness intact, this cake too is another masterpiece. Priced at ₹650 for half a kg,its worth every penny. I’m salivating just at the thought of it.
