If Asian cuisine is your thing, you’ve probably eaten sushi before. But have you eaten from the best? These eateries make it to the top of the list in Pune. Fresh fish, unique combinations and great ambiance, here's a list of the best spots for sushi in Pune.

Shizusan

Serving a lot many cuisines like Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and Asian, you know why you should be heading to Shizusaan. Located inside Pheonix Mall, Shizusan has a great selection sushi that acts as the highlight of their menu with over 18 variants to offer.  The ‘NO’RI Maki -speciality sushi is to die for and is priced at INR 495.

Gong

Located on Balewadi Highstreet, Gong is one of the most talked about Asian restaurants in Pune. With veg sushi being the star of the menu, Gong definitely makes it to our list of go-to places. The veg sushi is decently priced at INR 185. You must also try their speciality sushis that are named as Sushiritto and carbon sushi. They also have a super interesting concept called sushi doughnut which we suggest you must try. A meal for two here would cost you INR 1700.

Miyuki - Double Tree by Hilton

Focusing only on Japanese and Sushi dishes, Miyuki at Chinchwad serves the best sushi you could ask for. Their crunchy roll sushi, in particular, had us asking for more. It is a tad bit expensive and is priced at INR 750. But if you love strong flavours and are looking to take your S.O out on a fancy date then head to Miyuki for just that! A meal for two here would cost you INR 1700.

Moshi Moshi

Located in Koregaon Park, Moshi Moshi is a beautiful Insta-worthy restaurant that serves dishes from all over Asia. We would definitely recommend trying a platter of their nigiri sushi and sashimi starting at INR 295 for two pieces. A meal for two here would cost you INR 1000. Now their sushi is priced at little steeper rates but we thought they were completely worth it.

Wasabi 15

Located right on North Main Road in Koregaon Park, Wasabi 15 is a one of a kind Asian Cafe with dishes from all over South-East Asia. The cafe has a chill vibe where you can sit and do your work over a cup of coffee or even a plate of sushi. Yes, you heard that right. They have a range of sushi's to choose from in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. You should definitely try their Asparagus tempura sushi and crab meat sushi. A meal for two here would cost you INR 700.

Ukiyo - Ritz Carlton

Situated inside Pune's newest five star property- Ritz Carlton- Ukiyo is a fine dining Japanese restaurant. The restaurant surely has a sophisticated and classy vibe to it and a pretty extensive sushi menu. We suggest you try their Okonomoyaki Roll which comes with Octopus and their rock shrimp roll. They also have a varied selections of california rolls, sashimi and nigri to choose from. A meal for two here would cost you INR 2500.

Ginkgo

The newest eatery on the block, Ginkgo in Kothrud mainly focusses on Japanese cuisine along with some Korean and Thai options. Run by two 23-year-old chefs, this Pan-Asian bistro is a coy little space where you can indulge in some delicious types of sushi. Popular options include ebi tempura and Norwegian salmon sushi. The price starts at INR 395.

Tien

Tien is a healthy food joint/sushi bar situated in Model Colony. They are known for their katsu chicken, pink salmon, tuna-mayo and tempura prawns sushi. Prices start at INR 500 for 8 pieces. Here, you can find numerous options for vegetarian sushi too such as Katsu tofu, tofu-bell pepper, cucumber-carrot-cream cheese, avocado-cucumber, avocado, etc. Similarly, you have the option to design your own sushi platters starting at INR 1600.
